The Team Healed Khloe Foundation was born from a deeply personal journey that began in 2018 when our daughter Khloe was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer—Neuroendocrine Tumor of the Pancreas and Liver. In search of the best possible care, we traveled across the country—from Iowa to Washington, D.C., and Minnesota—seeking specialized treatment. The emotional toll was immense, and the financial burden was just as overwhelming. Yet, throughout this incredibly challenging time, the unwavering love and support from our family, friends, colleagues, and even those we had never met, became a constant source of strength, lifting us up when we needed it the most."
In 2020, Khloe underwent a first-of-its-kind double organ transplant at the Fairview Masonic Children’s Hospital in Minnesota. We are eternally grateful to the parents who made the selfless decision to donate the gift of life during an unimaginably difficult time. Their decision gave Khloe—and several others—a second chance at life. We honor the hero we will never know.
Today, Khloe is thriving, and her story is the driving force behind everything we do. At The Team Healed Khloe Foundation, we are dedicated to supporting Maryland families facing similar challenges, raising awareness for pediatric cancer research, and advocating for increased funding and early detection.
We are more than a foundation—we are a community, a family, and a beacon of hope for those who need it most.
"WE ARE TEAM HEALED KHLOE"
Our mission is to support families in Maryland who must travel for medical care or treatment by providing financial assistance. We also advocate for early detection, promote increased funding for pediatric cancer research, and empower parents and caregivers to be strong advocates for their children.
